South Coast Aerial Tour

The Sardine Run is a natural phenomenon that occurs yearly between May & August along the east coast of South Africa. Millions of Sardines migrate up the coast in large shoals. They attract a large range of fish eating animals. Sharks, Whales, Dolphins, Birds and larger fish feed off the Sardine shoals and create a unique natural phenomenon which has attracted the attention of tourist. After National Geographic’s article on the Sardine Run, many tourists have come to experience the migration. Options have been limited to boat or by scuba diving but now you can enjoy the tour from above.

The plane is the Beechcraft Baron 58 which has three passenger seats. The pilot will take off from Virginia Airport in Durban North and head South along the KwaZulu-Natal Coast to find the Sardines and enjoy a heavenly view of the east coast. Flying at low altitudes to spot the large shoals and enjoy the vast beauty for the area.
